Science Behind Tai Chi and Qi Gong

Tai Chi – Qi Gong works on the concept of balance in the body between the various dualities: static and dynamic, hot and cold, fast and slow, left and right, external and internal, inhale and exhale, soft and hard etc. Maintaining a balance helps prevent the decay of the body and mind that is usually caused by excess or deficiency. This is achieved through mindfulness during the movements, postures, and breathing. Breath control helps to regulate the internal systems of the body as well as the state of the mind and emotions.
